Once I find a concealer that I like it's almost impossible for me to try a new one. Concealer is a beauty product that comes in a small package but holds a lot of weight.  I think the reason is because it's a detail product meaning that you're using it to  "correct"  or cover something specific so it's gotta perform. Covergirl is a brand that has been around for years and pretty accessible to all makeup wearers. Even in their advertising this brand has always stepped outside the box for diversity and inclusivity. So did COVERGIRL Outlast Extreme Wear Concealer deliver? Yes it did! I liked the consistency of this concealer it's in between a liquid and cream. I have uneven dark skin around my eyes from dermatitis and this concealer gave me coverage without irritation. I also have darker marks on my jawline from a medical condition, and let's not forget the burn by my temple from the flat iron. COVERGIRL Outlast Extreme Wear Concealer either totally covered these marks or blurred the areas that made me feel confident that I was giving " good face". The coverage is not cakey and the areas stayed smooth throughout my day of errands in these humid inconsistent Louisiana temperatures. After applying my face moisturizer and eye cream I applied concealer using my fingers and then a moist beauty  sponge to "perfect" the look. I didn't use a powder for setting and I didn't experience smudging, or have to reapply. I own a beauty brand, Beauty by Bela, so I am always trying to look for great products to understand what the consumer is looking for. I was excited to try out this concealer because I personally deal with dark under eye circles and I was hoping this would be my new favorite product. 

After trying this product I have to say it was pretty good. It didn't cover my dark circles as I had hoped it would, but the blend of this product is great. The color match was pretty spot on and I loved how even though it is marketed as full-coverage, it wasn't super thick. Its super blendable and works great with other products. I did notice it creasing a bit and going into my fine lines - which is why I gave it 4 stars. I love that this product is true to it's name and is full coverage. It's nice because it's not too full coverage where it's cakey, but is definitely buildable and layers well with other products. Personally, my skin is very dry and I loved that this didn't have a matte finish.  I love that this has SPF in it, as well! The finish is kinda dewy - however, it lasted on my skin for a while before becoming too oily. Outlast Extreme Wear 3-in-1 Full Coverage Liquid Foundation

As a Pro Makeup Artist and a product junkie, I was really excited to try the Covergirl Outlast Extreme Wear Concealer.  I typically use a full coverage, professional concealer daily and on my clients.  This concealer gave a little less coverage than I was used to, but is buildable.  I always prep the undereye with a hydrating eye cream, and set the concealer with a setting powder to ensure it doesn't crease or move.  This product wore all day, just like my high end, professional products do!  If you have dry or textured skin, I would recommend using a hydrating eye cream under the concealer, using only as much concealer is needed, (don't use to much) and then set very lightly with a powder.  Since this product has more of a matte finish, with too much product or powder on top, it can look very dry.
