The Dolce Self-Tanning mist aims to offer a smooth, airbrushed tan with ease, but the application process isn't as effortless as advertised. The mist does not distribute evenly, requiring the use of a tanning glove to blend the product for a streak-free finish. Without the glove, the product tends to pool in certain areas, leading to blotchiness and uneven coverage. While the color is natural and develops nicely over time, the necessity of blending defeats the purpose of a "mist." Additionally, the scent is fairly pleasant, and the tan itself lasts for several days without significant fading. However, for those looking for a truly flawless and easy mist application, this product may not be the best fit.

I started tanning last summer and have tried many self-tanning products since but never a mist. The dolce glow self-tanning mist in medium/dark is easy to use and provides a seamless golden tan. I usually like to prep my skin by exfoliating and adding lotion before I apply anything else for a smoother outcome. The dolce glow advices to avoid any skin prep and to my surprise it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and moisturized immediately after applying. There’s no texture peaking through or any harsh lines/streaks everything blends together so effortlessly. Depending on how dark I want my tan I prefer to apply the self tanning mist before bed so that it can fully develop throughout the night and I’ve had no issues with it transferring onto my clothes or bedding. The dolce glow mist applies beautifully on the skin I use a application mitt to blend it in but it is optional overall I think this is my new favorite self tanner it looks so natural and golden, it leaves my skin hydrated and glowing and it doesn’t have a harsh fragrance to it.

I’ve never tried anything like the Acqua hydrating face mist by Dolce Glow, I have fair to light skin and my face rarely tans. With the Acqua face mist I’m able to achieve the perfect streak free sunkissed glow all year round. The glass bottle allows a cool sensation while the formula is hydrating and refreshing on the skin. It has a ultra fine mist that applies evenly and absorbs instantly I apply it at night after I’ve applied my skincare so by the time I wake up it looks like I just returned from a tropical island. The only downside like any self tanner you can’t see the results right away it takes 6-8 hours to fully develop then you can reapply as needed. It looks so natural and it’s long lasting I’m able to shower and wash my face multiple times before it begins to fade. This is the best alternative for a natural summer glow.

I have very light pale colored skin, it’s difficult to tan without getting sunburned or turning red. I use to be really self conscious of my pale legs and I would avoid wearing anything that showed them off even in the hottest weather. I like to use it on both my face and body by adding it to my lotion and moisturizer or even by itself. The formula is hydrating and lightweight on the skin it absorbs quickly and doesn’t have any harsh fragrance. Overall the application process was very easy im never left with any streaks or naked patches everything blends out so beautifully for the perfect natural summer glow.
