I’ve used a few massage candles before, but never anything like this. The scent of eucalyptus and rosemary is so beautiful, it’s soft but so yummy and calming. The formula is hydrating, with vitamin e and aloe Vera, even thought it’s warms into an oil, it absorbs into the skin beautifully and doesn’t feel like there is a residue left behind. I used this on my husband, who tends to get really dry during winter, and the scent wasn’t overwhelming for him and he loved the formula. We both felt hydrated, even a few hours later. Which is a huge plus since we live in Arizona. We even paired it with a moisturizer and both products paired well together. Also, I’m in love with the packaging. It feels so luxurious and heavy. I was able to try the Santu massage candle in the scent Coco Corazon, and I absolutely loved it. From the moment I lit the candle, the scent filled the room with this warm, comforting blend of vanilla, Mexican coffee, and creamy coconut. It’s the kind of fragrance that feels both cozy and luxurious, like you’ve just stepped into a high end spa. As the candle burns, it melts into this silky, beautifully scented oil that’s perfect for massages (don’t worry, the oil isn’t too hot and won’t burn you! I was initially worried about this, but the oil is warm, not scalding). The oil feels so moisturizing and left my skin soft, hydrated, and smelling incredible for a good amount of time after using it. The whole experience feels like pure relaxation. The gentle light from the candle, the soothing scent, and the feel of the oil together create a total spa moment. It actually reminds me of one of the best massage experiences I had while staying at a resort in Riviera Maya, where they also used massage candles. This will be a staple for future date nights. I received the Lima Mexicana scent by Santu Beauty. I was interested in this scent by Santu because the notes of lime, eucalyptus, and rosemary sounded like a refreshing and relaxing scent. I was pleasantly surprised because the body lotion took me back to a tropical place..the scent reminded me of coconuts and I would even say vanilla at times. The lime and eucalyptus were also prominent. It has a strong scent in a good way, as that means the scent lasted long on my skin. The lotion applied very nice and evenly. A little goes a long way. It was easy to work into my skin and my skin felt very smooth and hydrated throughout the day. This would make the perfect summer body lotion because of its scent. It even gave my skin a nice glow! I’m interested in trying the other scents. This product was received as part of an educational promotion.

I was very excited to receive the Coco Corazón lotion from Santu Beauty but I was sadly a bit disappointed with the product. First impression I was in love, I really liked the sleek design and neutral tone of the bottle and the matching box was very pretty to me. However, once I used it the smell was not one that I would expect from a product that is supposed to smell like Coconut and vanilla. It’s not a bad smell, I still very much enjoyed the scent of the lotion and I will give them the benefit of doubt since they do use natural ingredients and maybe I was expecting a more artificial coconut and vanilla scent. The issue with the lotion is that once it dries it tends to leave a weird film that flakes and causes it to appear as dry skin or residue. I noticed it after the first use since it got all over my ack shirt and was coming from my arms running against me as I worked. It made my skin look ashy and crusty but other than that I don’t have any complaints. I’m someone who exfoliates often so I know that wasn’t the issue, I even tried using it with my body oil but that made the issue worse. I think this is a good lotion if they can fix that issue of it leaving flaky film after the product dries.
