I had high hopes after hearing what the benefits are for this Vitamin C Serum. I have Melasma, I’m 43 but I have been told I look lat 20’s. After using this serum for over 2 months there was no change at all in my melasma or post acne dark spots. I was disappointed to know how pricey this will be and yet it did not yield the results mentioned. One thing I will say is I liked the texture and feel on my skin, it felt very smooth. After applying moisturizer and makeup on top it pills, which no one wants to experience. No offensive scent, i really did not smell any fragrance to it. Overall I would not purchase this item, which is a first for me. I see some mixed reviews on this product so if you want to try it for yourself and see go ahead and test it out.

There's not enough I can say about the Senté Defense C Serum that completely encapsulates the magic this product has brought to my skincare routine. I didn't know bio-tech skincare could revolutionize something as natural as my skin barrier until I was offered the opportunity to try the Defense C Serum myself, and living in Texas leaves my skincare routine a bit random sometimes when it comes to the weather.First, what really intrigued me about the product was the active ingredients. As somebody who is approaching skincare from a holistic and natural perspective, I was a bit skeptical about the serum being exactly what I wanted— not knowing it was going to be something I needed! It's main ingredient is Heparan Sulfate Analog, a multi-talented molecule that is naturally found amongst the skin barrier.This ingredient has the ability to renew damaged and inflamed skin by communicating with other necessary molecules and proteins that play a factor in the health and appearance of the skin.After the first night, I woke up with soft, supple skin after my exfoliation. Within the first week, I noticed I had less fine lines under eyes and around my mouth. By the end of the month, my skin was very hydrated and it was evident that I didn't experience so much sunburning or discoloration with the shifts in the Texas weather. I like to apply this serum first, then my heviest products follow and viola beauty in a bottle. In the past month of my use, I was definitely able to see an even complexion and supple skin. Personally, since the product isn't antibacterial in nature, I enjoy using this in my nighttime routine more than my day routine, but you can definitely use it for both. As somebody who tends to have acne flare ups from environmental factors, I would say this serum is great for seasons that aren't too active on the skin barrier, such as spring and autumn. The hot Texas days didn't feel any different using this product, though I did notice less burning in the sun when using this product as well, so I believe it depends how your skin reacts to ultraviolet radiation from the Sun.The Defense C Serum is a great defensive serum, but it's not necessarily a strong Vitamin C serum where the glow is super evident. It tends to show up underneath the skin, compared to some Vitamin C serums that can show up atop of the skin-giving the skin an ultimately dewy, gold look. Overall, I will give this product 4/5, more or less because the packaging seems a bit small to the price point-though I have been able to get a good use of the product. In my daily routine, I use three pumps each daytime and nighttime routine, so six pumps a day. And for it to be over a month since purchase, I can say 1 am satisfied, though I believe it could supplement a 3 month supply per bottle and still meet the demands while making profit. I might put this on my Christmas wishlist, we will see!

I Am 35 years old and i have noticed i need a little boost on my skin and this serum does miracles i have noriced a big diffrence in my skin it looks very hydrating and healthy i love wearing this in the morning for my morning skincare routine because itt brightens my skin and feels hydrated but I like that. You can also work at night time for your nighttime, so I’m getting care of routine. Because in the morning you’re skin feel super good, and it is ready for your morning. Skin care routine. it has a very slight smell but not tooo strong but my skin looks super bright and clean without wearing makeup so when i wear makeup it looks soooo goood!!!! i really recommend it for alll ages specially of you neeed that littlee boost in your skin to look healthier

The Sente Defense C Serum is truly like no other vitamin C serum I have tried. It packs in 20% vitamin C via THD Ascorbate but I had zero irritation from it even though I have sensitive skin. I believe this is their super unique addition of heparan sulfate analog which is supposed to help make that high percentage of vitamin c easier to tolerate. I applied this every morning for 1 month and am really happy with my results so far. I have seen even my most stubborn hyperpigmentation light and overall my skin feels brighter, more even, and bouncier/plumper. I have tried so many different vitamin c serums at all price points and can easily say this performs better for my skin that any of them. Beyond how well the Sente Defense C Serum works, I love that there is no smell!! I also love how thoughtful the packaging is to ensure that the vitamin c remains stabilized and does not spoil. It is in an airless pump instead of a clear/translucent bottle with a dropper. The serum texture is unmatched as well, it is on the thicker side but applies effortlessly. When you follow their directions to let the serum full absorb before going in with your moisturizer it does not pill and does not mess with my makeup application. Even though this is at a luxury price point I think it is justified by how unique the formulation is. I would rather spend money on this serum that I know works and does not cause irritation for me than continue buying mid range serums that cause irritation and make me not use them. I was gifted this product in exchange for my honest review.
