I had a mixed experience with this product. I really loved the science behind it and how it repairs the skin on a cellular level.The positives for me. The texture is a little bit different than my typical choice of serum but it is hydrating and soft. My skin felt hydrated and glowy and all the positive things you want in a skin care products.The one downside was everytime I used this product I had a breakout. Nothing big, but small milia and non-inflamed acne appeared around my mouth which is not something I have ever experienced.As a skincare professional I know that acne and milia tend to form fees before it shows on the surface but it was a strange coincidence that happened several times.Because of this I didn’t use the product consistently everyday, more like 4-5 times a week, but I do plan on finishing the bottle.Overall I thought this product was great.

I've been using the Sweet Chemistry Barrier Repairing Hydra Serum for a few weeks now. I recently had laser treatment on my face, and this hydra serum has been an amazing addition in helping me heal my skin barrier. I use it every morning and evening after washing my face. The formula is very light weight the application is really smooth and the serum is not greasy or sticky at all. My skin has been healing really well, and I love the visible improvement I see after using this for almost 3-4 weeks now. All of the redness caused by laser treatment is gone, and my skin looks really healthy and glowy. I store the serum in the fridge since I love how cool it feels on the skin. It feels very refreshing. I love the plumping effects the serum provides as well.

This barrier repairing serum comes in a small package, but delivers powerful results. My skin looks more glowing and youthful, as well as a smoother appearance with less fine lines and wrinkles. I use the serum both day and night and initially I didn’t notice much of an effect; my skin tends to be dehydrated because of the climate and I didn’t appear to offer deep the deep hydration that has that instant plumping effect but after about 3 weeks, I really noticed began to see the changes in how my skin looked with a visible improvement in texture and more soft to the touch. I like to use this after cleansing my face and before moisturizer. It really helps lock in moisture and keeps my skin hydrated all day, especially in these winter months in Florida.

Let me start by saying this product really packs a punch for my skin. At first I wasn’t sure that this product was going to be able to revive my skin because my skin felt very dehydrated, was lacking luster and overall just felt dull. I use this product for several weeks and was surprisingly impressed with how well this did for my skin. I love that it contains barrier repairing ingredients because I feel that my skin definitely has damage to my skin barrier because of previously used harsh ingredients. I really have been into peptides lately and I find that this product containing peptides really helped to bring my skin back to life after using it for a while. I felt my skin was less dehydrated and less fine lines were appearing. I also liked that it’s anti-inflammatory and it seemed to help clear some of my redness. The product itself is fragrance free, which I do like as well because my skin is sensitive to overly fragrance products. Overall, if you’re someone who feels like they just need a revive in their skin. this would definitely be a product that I would recommend.
